  • About Trade-Van
  • The Ministry of Finance started a cargo clearance automation planning and promotion (CCAPP) task force on November 9 1990.
  • This task force established the first EDI information exchange service network in Taiwan during the Six-Year Cargo Clearance Automation Project.
  • On July 1 1996, the CCAPP task force was privatized to form Trade-Van Information Services. Major Shareholders include the Ministry of Finance, among eight leading private corporations.
  • Trade-Van was formed to ensure more effective utilization of Taiwan's first EDI information exchange network. Our original major goals were to improve and expand a range of value added information services, including customs clearance automation, and paperless trading.
  • The rapid success of our customs clearance automation helped the large number of Taiwan manufacturing companies to export their products across the globe.
  • Currently, almost all customs clearance in Taiwan go through our network. To better service our clients, we are developing e-commerce services to provide a one stop service for conducting international trade.
  • Our core business is to provide value added information exchange services to the international trading community.
  • Trade-Van started from customs cargo clearance and have developed a range of web based front end systems to enhance the competitive advantage and business performance of our customers.
  • We work with other leaders in the b2b e-commerce field across Asia to expand our network reach and increase the effectiveness of our service offerings.
